I always thought he was guilty of murdering the 5 members of his family but after watching a documentary i'm not so sure now.
legal documents have been withheld that would suggest there is serious doubt over his conviction.

Part one of an ITV dramatisation was aired last night.

Fwiw, from wiki:

Bamber is serving life imprisonment without the possibility of parole. As of November 2016 he was one of 70 prisoners in the UK subject to a whole-life order, and is the only such prisoner to assert his innocence

only a 10-2 majority against him which means at least 3 members of the jury had serious doubts about the evidence. not exactly a rock solid basis to be giving someone a whole life term

you dont need serious doubts to find not guilty, you need to be sure to convict.

i always thought he did it, i suspect tv show is a bit biased to that opinion too.

i guess its very hard for him to prove he didnt do it

A few years ago there was a poster on here under the name of "I killed Bambi ha ha", thought it was a very odd choice of user name.

according to reports there were 2 dogs one was found a home and the other was put down on vets advice . if the vids on youtube are to be believed nevile bamber called police and said "my daughter has gone crazy and she has a gun "  also on police reports armed  police were talking to someone inside the house when j. bamber was outside with them . also a lot of other shyte that dont add up and its worth watching the youtube case reports .not saying he did it or not but if that went to court in this day and age odds on he would have walked imo.

I haven't read the article but there was something on the Mirror front page yesterday about "new evidence".

Prosecuting QC was a family friend. How he convinced the jury that the sister didn't shoot herself and the family I'll never know.

5,7 and slight she overpowers and bludgeons the father, kills her own kids and the rest of the family with very little knowledge of a firearm - leaves her own blood on a silencer in a cabinet, which effectively meant she couldn't have shot herself (twice as it happened) from close range because of the length of the rifle with the silencer on....

doantwin2easy...A little knowledge is a dangerous thing.

How was it proven to be her blood in the days before DNA?

this week puts the cousin in the frame,

maybe she has an alibi for the shooting, but finding the silencer to fit up
jeremy would be a nice twist on midsomer murders. Mischief

Did the TV programe mention that Girlfriend Julie Mugford had signed a £25,000 contract with the News of The World for her story ONLY on the jury returning a guilty verdict?

Well, shortly after the conclusion of Jeremy Bamber's murder trial, Mugford went on to sell her story to the News Of The World, and as the Mirror reports, bagged herself a hefty £250,000 deal. Later in life, Julie married and moved away to Winnipeg, Canada, where she changed her name. Since moving from the UK, Mugford has worked as a teacher, a vice principal at a primary school, and as a manager in the Winnipeg Schools Division, according to the Mirror.

A letter dated 26 September 1985 from the assistant director of public prosecutions who prepared the case against Bamber suggests that
Mugford not be prosecuted for the burglary, the cheque fraud, and for a further offence of selling cannabis.
