I can't think of any group more inflammatory in nature?
I admire the Chinese people who were doing incredible stuff throughout history at the same time as the Egyptians and Romans. They have an insular nature. A quite wise nature. They have kept themselves out of the rest of the world throughout history. Not wanting to conquer it. The argument could be made that they have kept themselves captive by their rulers in China. Nobody hears about chinese people roaming the streets in London with knives? Forming Rape gangs. They don't protest in the streets and build temples all over? Of course there is always a criminal element to every people. But even here you find they keep to their own people and don't cross over to mainstream crime.
The Seeks are as polite a people as could be, Buddhists aren't gonna stomp on your head in east London? Everywhere you find a population of diverse cultures after a small adjustment period everyone gets along. But the Muslims think they should rule over everyone else. And unlike the Chinese or Greeks they don't seem to have the historical credentials for the job. Split by tribal warfare? (where is the Glory Lawrence? where is the gold)

It's a generality but look where there is strife in the world and in the majority of cases they aren't far away. That and other reasons are why people are a bit wary.

My rant above (try to be concise in half a page - its a rant) is simplistic. there is a rich scientific culture in the middle east over thousands of years. But they've destroyed it over and over again through conquering their neighbours. They're destroying their own cultural history right now. The west isn't destroying statues intentionally.
Because they can get away with a lot more in the West by claiming minority status and racism than they can in a country where they dominate.
You try claiming the same in Britain when you're white/British or Christian and you'll get laughed out of court - the same applies to them in countries where they make up the majority.

I only know three some of the nicest people I've ever met,in saying that they probably aren't typical as all inter racial marriages

it has nothing to do with the religion that is just an excuse. it is extreme politics not religion.
It's hard to take anyone seriously on this topic unless they make the effort to distinguish between 'Islam' per se and the hideous perverted Fundamentalist reinterpretation of Islam that is at the root of current evils. The blanket use of the term 'Muslim'is not only inaccurate, it is unhelpful and inflammatory, despite the disinformation that the High Priests peddle on here.
It would be fair and right to distinguish between fundamentalist Islam and the religion itself if there were any Muslim countries that also were free and democratic and had the same belief in Western European values.
It is not good enough to say something is good just because it makes you feel better about yourself. You have to look critically and honestly.

You see people fear the influence that islam might gain in the West. They are afraid of the unnecessary work that might be required to ward off that influence.
Why should they be fearful? Whatever it is i can`t let that bother me.

where is the gold - in Lawrence of Arabia the arabs equate gold with glory and status. They are nomads so taking towns are meaningless.
