Killing dragons is dragon-ist. There was an article in the guardian about it.

Basically, if I read it right, if you don't accept a fire breathing reptile into your home, you're a racist.

Self hating liberal left wont allow people to celebrate St Georges day.

Looks a decent looking event - Plenty of mentions of Shakespeare over the last couple of days on BBC news, No mention of this planned celebration...

is it to do with George being Christian do you think?

What are you celebrating?

For me it's our sense of humour, the phlegmatic outlook of the majority of the people in the face of a conniving Establishment, our friendliness beneath the dour exterior we put on, our charitable instincts, our knowledge that we're not really that great at much anymore but we'll give anything a lash and have a laugh doing it, our refusal to be bullied, our sense of neighbourliness and our liberal toleration of most points of view.

Clearly not all just English characteristics and clearly not values everyone has - but that's what I see, in general, when I look at England.

Well, the good bits anyway.

The Guardian doesn't approve of an English saints day.

It offends Muslims not as much as the flag but offensive nonetheless.

No offence Sonko :) But ...
I see the telegraph I think it was had an article about "liberals" hating St Georges day, using the american term.

I'm so fed up of that :( I'm a good old fashioned liberal, and I have nothing to do with self loathing left wing tw*ts.
Liberal does not mean left.

FFS, churchill, often considered the modern saviour of our country, went back and forth to the liberal party, and often said he was a liberal, and he hated Socialism.

Just because we're liberals, doesn't mean we're stupid ***ts!

Yes JC

'Liberal' as in the belief in small government and general 'freedom' - ironically, the exact opposite of what most seem to think it means.

Today is a day of celebration of our English heritage, and for all Englishmen and women Britain First wishes you a merry day celebrating our beloved culture!

Today is a day where all Britons can feel pride because this is the worst day of the year for our leftwing, Islamic opponents who loath our national pride and heritage.

Saint George was a Christian martyr who stood firm against a powerful Roman Emperor and chose death instead of cowardly capitulation.

....and there we part ways Ron, because schadenfreude regarding whatever 'leftwing, Islamic opponents' may or may not think about St Georges day doesn't ,make me enjoy it anymore.

Everyone's welcome to the party as far as I'm concerned, provided there onboard with the 14.36 posting
