Her Majesty, even at 90, is almost never at home. Rainwater is utterly incapable of preventing her from going out. As far as she is concerned if it rains on her subjects, fellow citizens, it could rain down upon her hat and shoes.
Sometimes as an exception she would sit in her room and read, or write something or other. The world is not beautiful but we can pretend it is when the Queen is in her palace.
