Is there a country where the name of the language/name of the people is the same as the name of the country.  ie. the adjective is the same as the noun.

Not exactly I should think, because people would need to differentiate when it is being used as a noun or an adjective

Hence England, English...

Still somebody might know one, I don't?

I thought Klingon might count, but I erroneously thought there was a planet called Klingon.
Just goes to show I'm not much of a Trekkie.

I'm sorry. In future I shall stick to the more dignified term, coined by Sir Alf Ramsey to describe the Argentine team at the 1966 World Cup.

People on here sometimes call me JC. I used to not mind when the meant Jesus, I too once had a really heavy weekend and crawled out of a cave 3 days later talking sh*te when I though at one point I was dead, but when they started confusing me with Jeremy Corbyn...

I'm ok to be confused with the son of god and having caused millions of deaths through religious warfare, but I draw the line at that c***!
