Used to be a time when it was always a good watch, fascinating, well written, innovitive and thought provoking. Can't say I have any enthusiasm for tonights or many of the recent series, no doubt there will be lots of glossy graphics of the Sun expanding and engulfing the solar system, lots of unimaginable large numbers and camera work and editing which looks like it's been done by a pre graduate try hard along with an ambient soundtrack and narration from whoever was found lounging in the BBC canteen with time on their hands. Just doesn't seem to cut it anymore.
Tonights episode is about the End of the Solar System, starting in a few minutes, the programme that is, not the end of the solar system.

I hope it covers the hypothesis that the solar system will be engulfed due to God's will because of our tolerance of homosexuality, giving credence to false prophets and occasional penchant for a bit of dogging.

Is there any hard science programs out there. Theory is all horizon comes up with now.
I want to know if they have lasers to cut through steel? is a jet pack possible. can we build a real iron man suit? nano bots? are they possible yet. tv screens like paper - how long. cancer cures... still ten years away. Nixon said ten years. hard real science. |
