Because 'doing nothing wrong' doesn't cut it in the court of public opinion, and when you set the rules as to what is right and wrong.

My paper said he had a secret stash of shares worth a lot. Im not sure what that means exactly but usually people with a "secret stash" go to prison when they get caught. Different rules for him though.

Some people don't like tories, they will believe anything bad you say about them. Don't know the facts, don't understand even the basics of the subject area like the difference between dividends and capital gains, day 1 lesson 1 of knowing anything about tax or investment?
