I have seen the whole series, and must say that I enjoyed it a lot.
However, the last 2-3 episodes feel very rushed, as it just skips forward very quickly; it could probably have done with having twice as many episodes, and using the extra time to develop some of the characters a bit more.
According to a friend who has read the book, the book is much better. He says the show suffered from solely focusing on the stopping of the assassination,. The book apparantly does a better job of showing his gradual adjustment and then immersion in the world of the 1960's.

I just watched the first 2 episodes on my Firestick. I'd avoided as I just thought it was a Kennedy conspiracy type program so thanks to this thread I gave it a go. I like this type of genre. Wayward Pines was another series in a similar vein.

A lot of series lose their way half way through - some come back, others don't. What annoys me is when they conveniently tie all the loose ends up in the last 10 minutes and it feels all too rushed.
