Come, come Howdi, you should know the rules by now. It's OK for lefties (Benn, Hodge, Livingstone to name but 3) to 'dodge' tax, but unforgivable for an EVIL Tory.
I blame Maggie Fatcha myself.... |

Its certainly put into context when the PM publishes profits from speculative portfolios and gilfs from mummy of 200k all against a backdrop of swathes of potential redundancies brought about by shareholder value maximisation.
How much 'work' did he put into getting those profits? They want to 'make work pay'. |

What Cameron has done wrong is in his handling of the situation.
For an ex PR man Cameron has shown breathtaking incompetence as I recall one comment in the Mail. How he's managed to get himself into such a mess over a trivial affair such as using an offshore unit trust is remarkable. Now he's making it worse by publishing his income and his tax liabilities. That's even ammunition for his enemies to use against him. If he'd been taking advice from his worst enemy he couldn't have got into more trouble. |

Self made men - myth of " i got here on my own merit"
but get huge cash gifts off parents. ( i'd like £200,000 off my mommy too). Trump in America the same. Large cash wallop of his dad. |

None of them are self made.
That's not to say they couldn't do it from scratch, just that they haven't. |

"Dave" has done notinh wrong.
What we have is life's failures sniping from the sidelines, as that's best they can do. Brendan do you understand the difference betweend dividends and capital gains yet, or was that not explained in the horoscopes of the Mirror today? |
|
By:
dusty, what is your point?
Should every incomng PM crawl over poisoned salt and cast off all inherited money because at some point someone in the UK will be worse off than him? Shuould he stick a screwdriver in his ear so he's the same IQ as the average left wing idiot? |
|
By:
I can tell you this before anyone starts. I will minimise any tax I pay when I die.
Exact same as that famous commmunist Ed Milliband's dad did when he died, what a trooper. A tax on death on what you accrued under tax anyway is pathetic? WTF. And now the scum in the media are at Cameron for it. Sometimes I hate this country. |

I thought my point was very clear; the employment prospects of workers are eroded by the very principles that he and his chums are nuts deep in. The shareholder's return being the privilege of those with capital, he's telling the low paid to go out and work for money while he makes a share of the profits of their labour (this is called shareholder value maximisation and occurs in all sectors where there are shareholders) which culminates in an industry hanging by a thread and jobs in peril because his ideology refuses to step into the breach because it will undermine their very central ethos that privatisation is their God (not because of feeble excuses that the EU won't let then, they could still do it)
With regard his inheritance, he should like all others who don't have the option of contrived mechanisms in which to avoid tax, pay it.....infact there is more emphasis for him to set the example being in public office. He chose to enter into the position of dictating the agenda to others, so live by it. He has no private life. |
|
By:
oh ffs grow up, the steel plant in wales is pissing away 1 million a DAY and you are on about what tax a PM might have inherited when his ******ing dad died 6 years ago. You, like every leftie on this forum, have no perspective. Grow up.
|
|
By:
Oh and as we all know, if, overnight, cameron was to become a commie, he couldn't just take over the plant as due to EU rules, that the left love, he couldn't.
And still lefties sit on the sidelines saying the EU is great. No contradiction. |
|
By:
"With regard his inheritance, he should like all others who don't have the option of contrived mechanisms in which to avoid tax, pay it.."
Like the millibands? **** off. Inheritance tax is death tax, nothing simpler. What are corbyn's arrangements? He's not a man of the people, he grew up in like a 7 bedroom mansion in London. I can;t imagine THAT is below the threshold.. |

Somethings are worth stepping in and taking a blow for, that's all they would get a rap on the knuckles yet they hide behind it like mice because the fact they let enterprise strip the value out while doing nothing and being rewarded they have been found out.
Profiteering while the real workers are lead to the wolves. There won't be any real work left....it will all be the most basic form of capitalism, it will just be one large fookin Ponzi scheme. |

Please, for the benefit of all of us, describe one "law" cameron has used that you cant? You ............. can't though, can you. |

Here's another rich politician who left £5 million to his loved ones, skilfully dodging Inheritance Tax, although I don't know whether "lawyers and lackeys" were involved.
Oh no, he was a Socialist ! How could this happen ?!! . http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/personalfinance/tax/11189430/Tony-Benns-inheritance-tax-dodge-how-it-works-and-how-you-can-use-it-too.html . http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2816554/Benn-s-legacy-hypocrisy-week-revealed-arch-socialist-left-5m-children-none-good-causes-s-just-start-breathtaking-story-riches-tax-avoidance-double-standards.html |
