So I was walking the dog back from Ladbrokes along Silk Mills Rd, Taunton, this lunchtime, when I-SPIED the above plate on a blue Bentley Continental.

My question is: who buys this sort of motor and registers this sort of number to it?

The only Bentley owner I can think of is Barry the Brummie in series 3 of Auf Wiedersehen, Pet, but surely he would have had too much class to do this sort of thing.

It's a good job the vehicle wasn't seen in Croydon, as Plod would have doubtless seized it and the owner, and questioned him for 2 days without bail about whether he has committed a Hate Crime.

Makes sense. I was going to guess Prince Andrew. Does seem the sort of chap who would run a caravan dealership.

Thanks for clearing that up.

I now know that should I ever get a car, or a job, then a Bentley, a Ferrari or a Chrysler Crossfire (whatever that is) might not be the classiest choice. Or dealing in caravans.

Possibly. I think the Continental was a turbo type.

The blue lighting in the WC is disturbing, but happily there's a stairwell next door for the use of customers needing to urinate or shoot up.
