If you really want a good laugh at people collectively keeping ludicrous straight faces while they talk about "News", watch last night's episode of 'Newsnight', from around 23 minutes and 23 seconds in, for the next 10 minutes. It's a discussion that has no bearing on anything resembling real life.
A number of the people taking part quite possibly need to be on some sort of medication, (or better still working in a factory doing a proper job) as they discuss "the cultural appropriation of Justin Bieber's haircut". . http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b076tmq4/newsnight-05042016 For those who can't be bothered, I'll summarise up the entire 'debate' for you in one handy cut-out-and-keep sentence : "White people are sickening thieving racist culture stealers, non-white people are living saints and martyrs, even when they commit some cultural appropriation". This sentence actually covers a lot of BBC output these days, not just 'Newsnight'. |
