The question is about growing yer own maters in the house - south facing window.
I've 8 Gardeners Delight & 6 Sweetbaby's planted from seed - circa 3(?) weeks ago.
I've transplanted 6 of the Gardeners into larger pots and I'll leave the Babies be, for now (they're in wee yoghurt pots and are doing nicely).
My question is ... how many tommies can I transplant into a tub measuring 10 * 10 * 25?
sure, it'll depend upon the soil (B&Q Verve multipurpose) and I'm looking at 2 of each to grow in the kitchen.
Would this work?

Try hanging baskets if you can the smell of tomato plants might knock you out

Toms grow uptight, is it not? Hanging basket would break the stems (of my varieties) I think?

Hamsters? Mmm, not had one of those since a while. Freshly shot grey squirrels are top of my menu these days.
