I love the 'polls' that say Donald can't beat Ma Clinton. HTHF can they tell when they've never met in a debate or 'The Donald' hasn't picked at her past and ongoing misdemeanours? They also said he'd last a month. He will tear her a new one (Bill can't)

It's actually the Right that are infuriated.  Not like the Republicans to make a balls of it and choose an un-electable candidate.

Hilary is, unfortunately, home and hosed.

Wont be Clinton anyway. Bernie is enjoying a late surge of support and has crushed her in about the last 5 states and is on course to overturn her lead with pressure on the super delegates to switch sides.

Sanders will then smash Trump in the election.

He has alienated the Hispanic vote and his crass misogyny is alienating women.

His party don't really want him and whilst his boorishness and attitude to casual violence appeals to a wide-ish demographic, he is merely shoreing up that vote, not appealing beyond it.

All of which does not make him an odds-on shot.

correct. A Clinton victory, although polling well in NYC, is no forgone conclusion.

in 2012 10 million more women voted in the presidential election than men, a majority of them for obama

Had only men been allowed to vote Mitt Romney would have won.

As in this country, an enraged electorate is prepared to elect anyone other than the puppets of the political-economic elite.  If WW3 follows, many of us think it's worth it.  Suspect a lot of Republican billionaires are now funding Bernie Sanders - best chance of keeping the Clintons out.  Everything's going to be ungovernable anyway.  Start digging that shelter.  With Trump alienating Hispanic and women voters (which means he can't win), I wonder if a third candidate wont appear - Bloomberg?  And Trump should keep an eye out for the (Republican-funded) man in the book depository.

New York magazine also reveals details of another form of protection, which may explain Mr Trump's long running feud with Fox News and Roger Ailes, its chief executive and Republican Party power broker.

It claims Mr Trump came to Mr Ailes' aid in 2014 when the TV executive was embroiled in a law suit with his former PR adviser, Brian Lewis, whom he fired over an unflattering biography – written by the author of the magazine piece.

“When Roger was having problems, he didn’t call 97 people, he called me,” said Mr Trump.

Mr Lewis claimed to have information that would destroy Mr Ailes and his TV network. Mr Trump, who knew the lawyer retained by Mr Lewis, helped broker a pay-off, according to the magazine, but in so doing learned all about the potentially damaging revelations.

If true, it would explain why Fox News was slow to defend its own journalist, Megyn Kelly, when she was lambasted by Mr Trump following a televised debate last year.

Even Ms Kelly has said she expected more support from colleagues such as Bill O'Reilly on the station. 'I do wish that O'Reilly had defended me more in his interview with Trump. I would have defended him more,' she said in the April cover story of More magazine.
