The new lad who does the Football Focus on Saturdays seems like a decent presenter as does the black chap who occasionally does the sport section... however...
Naga's got a voice like Sybil Fawlty and grates my ears,
The other male presenters like Charlie wotshisname have no gravitas and Charlie loves his film actor interviews where he must have to keep stopping the filming to brush his tongue so it doesn't look as brown as it would be from licking so many actor arses.
Minchin seems like a littlew mouse in the corner,
The sports girl, (can't even remember her name) looks constantly awkward and thinks she's having a half-informed girlie chat down the gym when she is actually broadcasting to the nation about the latest sporting endeavours and achievements,
The other sports bloke appears to be like the kid at school who was really keen but crap at everything and I don't give a sh1te about some totally obscure "sport" that doesn't really exist and no-one is interested in but he feels the need to have a go at every week like falling down a hill in a balloon or some other sh1te.
The business girl seems nice but is so outperformed by the bloke who occasionally gets a look in and seems to know what he is talking about.
The vacuous stories that they cover tend to be so insignificant and annoying when they pop back up every few minutes on repeat and have some roving reporter visiting a school somewhere and being amazed how the kids have learnt to read and made a reconstruction of the slave trade made out of papier mache and pigeon droppings.
All I want is some balanced journalism and a report on the latest news because I've only got a few minutes locating a pair of matching socks and a reasonably clean pair of unstained underpants so I haven't got time for all that.
I love Carol Kirkwood though. She is intelligent, has such a cheery personality, a lot of expertise, a beautiful face and I would love to rub my face in her bazookas so am almost hypnotised with erotic fantasy when she's talks to me about showers.

The thing that bugs me is when the presenter introducing who the pair of them on the sofa are has to look at the other one when saying their name, to demonstrate which is which.
Charlie: "This is BBC Breakfast with Louise Minchin [looks at Louise Minchin] and Charlie Stayt".
Naga: "This is BBC Breakfast with Dan Walker [looks at Dan Walker] and Naga Munchetty".
You are not helping me with these looks. I can work out that the one in the suit is probably Charlie and the one in the skirt with boobs is probably Louise.
Now I've said this you will notice it every time they do it, and it will bug you as much as it bugs me.

They haven't adequately replaced Susanna Reid crossing and uncrossing her legs in the morning.
However, Naga should be ditched and also Steph the business bird with the dreadful accent. They do have a girl, Victoria, who does the business from time to time who should get the gig full time.

That Naga is one of the most annoying feckers on the box. If on the odd occasion I do put BBC1 on in the morning and I see her, the channel is immediately killed. All these gorgeous Indian ladies about, and the BBC had to go and hire that big eared supercilious monstrosity.

I have just turned it off. Naga didn't understand the meaning of the term "real ale" and tried to make an argument with the gentleman representing CAMRA. Just because it's not her cup of tea doesn't mean to say that others don't like it. I only wanted to see if there was any news this morning...got 2 minutes on the serious situation at TATA steel and 5 minutes talking about Adrian Lester's new TV programme.

You missed the Aussie business guy who is so over the top I'm sure he's covering torrets ticks. Then there is the business woman who looks like a chewed sandwich. That Charlie crosses his legs with the help of his hands like he's got a peg leg. That Saturday sports guy is like the return of Timmy mallet.
It's like the set of an equal opportunities charity group.

Is there a bigger helmet on TV than Mike Bushell?? - he was trying out a minority sport with 8 year old schoolkids the other week and they were all taller than him. He just needs loading in to a cannon.

i think victoria fritz is the business reporter mentioned earlier, she's lovely imo.
one things for sure, whoever is in charge of recruitment at the bbc is not on the same page as the person in charge of recruitment at fox. they may talk sh*t on the five but yesterday there was someone on called jedediah bilah, ive not noticed her before but the legs on her are awesome. fortunately for this old perv she was sitting at the end of the table so her legs were often on view, i wonder if they did this on purpose. she clearly got the gig as part of fox embracing diversitty as she is a brunette not a blonde.
if fox are ever in need of someone new to continue their recruitment policy i would certainly offer my services.

Andrea Tanteros has the body of a goddess and unfortunately the face of a gopher.
Jedediah Bila is cute and horny.
Julie Banderas would get a howitzer from this pervy twot. Hot and horny. It's not that long ago that she gave a fried locust to Ed Henry to taste, and then replied with "I prefer protein Ed" Poor Ed still had a mouthful of antennae and my hound nearly got a legful of said protein..

a very negative way to start the morning - their stories always seem to depress. skynews occasionally funny.
why is every presenter in a suit or evening dress? the weather people in the seventies showed up in wool jumpers... now in expensive dresses?
why do we need to see the weather people anyway - just do a voice over with a coloured dot to show where the weather is.

The gravy train in all its glory. The BBC has become a vehicle for the careers of educated people who fancy a cushy overpaid living.

reading about mike bushell he really is a bit of a prat.
Bushell is half northerner half southerner, spending his teenage years in Yorkshire after growing up in Hertfordshire, attending Ashwell School where his father John was headmaster. When he was 8 he started his own newspaper, called the Daily Owl and sold it and delivered it to friends in the village for 1p. He once got into trouble for giving away his new Christmas present as a prize for a competition. He played chess for Hertfordshire and ran in the county cross country team. Bushell wrote an opera at the age of 11 and kept alive his musical ambitions later in two bands. In 1977 his family moved to Harrogate and he went to secondary school at Granby High School. He sometimes took a tape recorder to school to record the day's events. It was here during a production of Hobson's Choice that he first got the drama bug and played the part of Willie Mossop. He went on to join the National Youth Theatre.

Hi,
When I was watching the 6 o'clock news last night and then again on BBC Breakfast this morning I couldn't help but notice the Women's defeat in the cricket T20 World Cup was placed ahead of the fabulous men's semi final victory.
This is in no way a sexist email, as I think its great we let women play cricket, however who is deciding its bigger news than the men's victory?!
It's quite laughable that someone made a decision that the women's game was more noteworthy than the men's. Why did you do this? who makes you do these things? Clearly men's cricket is a million billion times more popular than the women's.
Regards

BBC South has had two nights of special reports following a group from Oxford taking aid to and supporting people in the migrant camp ('Jungle') at Calais.
I say 'reports'. Basically it has been a PR exercise for the inhabitants of the camp, focussing exclusively on their living conditions and the difficulties they face.
None of this can be denied by Western standards of living - but at no point was anyone ever questioned about the migrants choice to be there, there legal right to be there, why they have not engaged with the existing, well-tried refugee / asylum seeking process, why they have travelled across Europe to this place instead of seeking refuge in the first country of entry to Europe, the legality of their actions in trying to board trucks coming to the UK and what there expectations are from the British State when and if they get here.
There is a well-trodden narrative to all these 'reports' and woe-betide anyone who deviates from it.

Some questions if anyone saw the Busted spot: 1) Are they in or out of the EU? 2) Did they have any useful insights into dealing with the migrant crisis? 3) How do they keep on getting a gig on the telly?

Mike Bushell at Aintree interviewing women about women in sport for 4 minutes, felt like 40 minutes
Discussing women's lack of representation at the upper echelons of sport and sports governing bodies, with Katie Walsh and Maggie Alphonsi making measured and well-constructed points on this issue - only for Bushell to finish by asking them what they would be wearing today, whether they had a hat and that there was a competition for the best dressed lady at the course today.

What really has started to annoy me are the incessant use of visual metaphor within reports. Sport is perhaps the worst for it but it occurs in everything now like it's seen as something prophetic.
Golfer is leading but starts to fall off the lead.....report says he started to 'plunge' (just as golf ball plops into water) Golfer's chance of lead 'veers off course' (just a put is missed)
Today they were talking about second homes in st.Ives reporter says 'that bird has flown' (just as bird takes off)

The meaningless visuals in any news programme defy belief.
Robert Peston is trying to communicate in that spazz-automaton way he has, something about the lack of credit headroom in the British economy - and some junior producer that hasn't quite got the bad acid he consumed at Glastonbury, out of his system, sees fit to illustrate this with an overhead drone shot of a Ferris Wheel or some paintbrushes.

yeah I've noticed this. Recently they had an item about something or other where the metaphor was 'standing at the crossroads.' Possibly the EU and which direction the country could take.
They duly sent out the reporter to a remote area with a crossroads where he stood and delivered his piece.

Classic this morning with that pillock Bushell saying he hoped we all listened to the Liverpool game on the radio and then the other daft sports presenter bird saying that she'd gone to bed then started getting texts saying you've got to switch on the radio and listen to the football. Clearly if you work for the beeb you aren't allowed to own or watch a tv although if you're relying on them for live sport you are essentially stuffed
