33 feet is a fair height to be working, take no chances at that height (or any height). I once had a pair of DIY ladders out of B&Q split in 2 when I extended them. Thankfully I wasn't up them when they broke.
I can thoughroughly recommend Titan Ladders. I've used both the Commercial (which were heavy) and domestic and they are a solid built pair. You can buy them online now http://www.titanladders.co.uk/product/classic-trade-ladder/ But they should have a distributor in Ipswich. I'd also go for a double extension if you are OK transporting them around. I have a set of triple ladders that are much more difficult to work with. They weigh a ton as well, I hate using them. Hope that helps you somewhat but again steer clear of DIY stores unless they stock this brand. |
