Cheers Mak, I have had a look on there. Good info.
No dog track, couple of days without gambling. Except desoto county if I can get a price.

Bridge of Sighs would be on my list of places to visit?

Don't waste time trying to park in the city centre. Use park and ride. Oxford is the worst place to park of all big cities.

If I remember ladycakes came from Oxford so if Howdi pops on he might give you her address

You could try the Inspector Morse tour, however the sites are dotted around everywhere so you really have to dash around.

There must be some enterprising Student out there, online, who can put your name down for Formal Hall as a Guest (for a mark up!).  Fine wine, fine cheeses and fine company in outstandingly beautiful settings.

You will need to borrow a Gown. Bring a penny for drinking games, freshen up on your Port passing etiquette and do NOT discuss any of the people in the Portraits hanging on the walls.

Remember to take off your Gown before heading into town.  They unnerve the Townies.

Blenheim Palace is worth going to nearby.

The Oxford Lesbian Brunch Club accept families if you think it's worth the chance of losing your missus to a carpet bruncher.
