Romanians sleeping rough in London DOUBLES in year as migration fuels homeless crisis
Vagrants from the east European country now make up a fifth of the capital’s homeless as figures continue to rise, blighting some of the wealthiest areas such as Park Lane.
The staggering report found of the 7,581 rough sleepers last year, 1,388 said they were from Romania – almost double the 730 recorded the previous year.
Overall, 7,581 people were recorded sleeping on the city streets by researchers last year, a 16 per cent rise on 2014.
Ministers have been warned the sharp increase in homeless is due to migrants, many from former Soviet bloc EU countries.

I heard this on the radio a while back 1 in 5 are Romanian,
They come here in false hope thinking there's jobs waiting ect. What percent sleeping on the streets are muslim i wonder |

This is a problem which is completely ignored by all those who think we should stay in the EU. All the migrants who come to the UK will need to live somewhere. Over the next 3 years we can expect another 1 million which is about the same amount of people who live in Manchester. So where are they all going to live?

This is a problem which is completely ignored by all those who think we should stay in the EU. All the migrants who come to the UK will need to live somewhere. Over the next 3 years we can expect another 1 million which is about the same amount of people who live in Manchester. So where are they all going to live? Last I heard Facts was building an extension onto his house. He's some man, must be in line for an award surely. |
