Utterly broken by Cameron in the House Of Commons, the day after the street theatre of Boris "coming Out."

The best bit is when Boris rises to respond to Cameron and a colleague says "tuck your shirt in." Laugh

He won't debate face to face on television. As a politician, all he had to do as Mayor Of London was nothing. Which he did. House prices gave him him his popularity, but that was and is the work of The Chancellor, The Governor of the Bank of England and the First Lord of the Treasury. They are unanimous in supporting Remain. And will ensure house prices rise until June 23rd.

The pity is, Boris doesn't even want the UK out of the EU, but wants to use an Out vote to lever a better deal to get back in.How weak is that? How does this look in Europe? Pretty much like the Scots rejecting independence but then voting for the SNP at the last Election so that every vote in Westminster hinged on "What's in it for Scotland?" In other words, a smaller party with mean intent blackmailing a bigger party. If the UK votes Out, then the EU will be duty-bound NOT to reward such an unprecedented act. In fact, the Belgians, backed by the French, have it written into the agreement that, if the UK leaves, we cannot return.

He made some good points - not least:

Where's our national interest in paying £20 billion a year into Europe and then Europe decides on the £10 billion which is spent in UK?

We get a 50% return and can't unilaterally say how we can spend it on ourselves.
Doesn't seem right somehow.....

Boris is popular but couldn't hold a candle to Nigel Farage in a debate.

Get your confidence back, remember you once ruled half the world surely you can manage your own country.

France can never forgive ye for bailing them out in two wars so always against.
The rest of Europe see you as a cash cow.

Leave.
