The arrogance of this woman is just unbelievable.
What the SNP will and won't do should Britain decide to leave Europe....another referendum....how poorly the negative campaigning of the 'better together' campaign worked. Er... YOUR LOT LOST!!! Scotland voted to remain part of the Union. You had your chance at independence and your population rejected it. The 'negative' campaingning of the together campaign worked. Suck it up! |

Scotland is part of the UK. They can't just decide to do anything unilaterally.
Remember - they had a vote on whether they wanted independence. They didn't. |

The only country to be offered the chance of independence to refuse. Braveheart.

And at a time when the economic arguments were stronger than they will be going forward.
|
|
By:
I think they just invented the economic argument, printed up a glossy brochure and winged it ,yessers wanted to believe and such is the SNP hierarchically structured that any dissenters were removed/stamped on ,they brainwashed their own (not a difficult task) and let them do the rest with a little help from the radicals
The yes/no question is actually not fair ,No is perceived to be negative and be easily be counter-imprinted as forcefully preventing and curtailing others wishes and turned into thee reason ,ie the question could have been "should Scotland remain as part of the UK" ,anyway all water under the bridge and most yessers now begrudgingly accept they were ignorant ,misinformed and completely off on one .Only the hardcore still see a case imo ,mostly out of bedevilment and rancor . But dont think for one nano second that if ordinary people believed they were being exploited or treated unfairly they would not take action and leave ,what country would not ? same applies to the UK in the upcoming referendum,if the case is genuine then so be it ,in Scotland's case the majority were correct and should give themselves a pat on the back . In the upcoming EU ref middle England must get it right and only time will tell but reckon if you follow your gut instinct on these things you will come to the correct decisions. |

Dr Johnson gives a very unusual definition for the word oats:
'a grain, which in England is generally given to horses, but in Scotland supports the people.' The description reveals his opinion of the Scots. |
