1980's Clubs

Plenty of under age girls and boys under 18 or 16 in those places then, but policed by parents or older brother & sisters and proper door staff. The street law for these kids was just behave, and do not kick up.
Now, the same cannot go in without proof of age.....
Whatever happened to gradually growing up?
