the news last night was saying they found another fragment of the Malaysian airliner? looks to me more than likely no survivors. But it got me thinking about the tom hanks film Castaway. murooned on an island for years. thousands of islands that might sustain life?
thought... what if the UN was to sink a satalite phone in concrete on every island. mark it with a barber pole(red and white stripes). that way if you find yourself on an island you lift the receiver and that activates a beacon. come and see?
