American Hustle - on C4 at 9.00pm, imo a top film with a great twist, well worth a watch

Just been watching the film before 'the time travellers wife'

Playing a horse with no name

This is a pile of crap, going nowhere fast.

Was very easy to spot the twist

Worse film I have sat through in years ,not tonight, seen it sometime last year Absolute Shyte

twist was done years ago in The Sting  ..

I cannot believe how bad this is, Jolly has some answering to do, he probably rates Avatar.

One hour gone and nothing has happened, At a guess the ending is good. I think CB & BC as very fine actors.

sorry gents, ill get my coat.

ibrahima to make it up to you when you start a reading fc match day thread i'll cheer them on too (it needs to be a mid week one though as i'm not around sats at the moment)

i really, really liked it. never seen avatar and never will.

i've actually got a bit of a soft spot for your team.

its been years and tears since i went to a game but gillingham are the team i grew up supporting. i went to reading a few times in the 80s in the old third division and like to see a smallish team do well. if he's still there mr auto trader needs to spend some cash.

tried to watch it twice, both times gave up after 30 odd mins, too slow and boring

Was looking forward to this but started to get irritated by it, then fell asleep.

Bit like sex with the wife  then ?

Too true to be funny

Apart from Amy, I have to agree this film was a big let down, I kept convincing myself it was going to get better but it never did.  Trying too hard to be a 'style' film but having no substance.

All the cast were fine but agree Jennifer Lawrence's character was highly amusing, she was brilliant stealing every scene she was in. However, first time I seen the film and thought it was way over-rated, don't understand how it got nominated for all those oscars. Parts of it were very good, but hard to follow at times and long-winded. Just felt the whole film could have been a lot better than it was.

I liked Edith's dresses. And Batman's combover/hairpiece ensemble was good too.

Who is Jennifer Lawrence? Was she Edith? Or Batman's wife?
