My mum used to work in Hackney as director of a home help carers charity. Occasionally carers had to be dismissed if they were incompetent or negligent. Without exception, Diane Abbot took up every single one of their cases and supported them through industrial tribunals as discrimination on racial grounds, regardless of any facts involved in each case.
