And people who drive a sports  car wear them even though the sun is not shining

I have never worn sunglasses at any time in my life. Can`t bring myself to do it.

Might be the only person in the world who has never owned sunglasses.

I was talking to an ophthalmologist today and he says to me "Brass, those sunglasses are bad for your eyes"
now who am I to argue with an ophthalmologist, so I took them off and stopped wearing them. But the problem is I feel cool when I wear them.Cool as like trendy cool ,if you know what I mean.Now I miss my glasses.

Try loosening the top 3 buttons on yer shirt and wear a big silver medallion.
You'll look as cool as you did with your sunglasses.

I have the medallion,an I have dyed my hair black and I have loosened the buttons on my wynne mardel shirt but I am here sitting on the sofa and the ophthalmologists words have left me scared he said"Brass ,you are wearing cheap sunglasses,and they will not block the ultra violet light that comes from the sun.you will ruin your eyes,as it happens I sell good expensive 200 quid sunglasses that will protect your eyes and they are on special offer today for 180 quid."
But I think he is trying to buck me out of my hard earned money.

so i  says to him,"ophthalmologist, I give you 100 quid for the glasses"
he says"BRASS best I can do is 160 quid.
so I says"i will give you 100 quid and the champion hurdle winner"
he says "what price is it"
so I says"its even money ,but if it dosent run you lose"
he says "its a deal"
so he give me the glasses and I agreed to give him 200 if Annie wins the hurdle.
On my way home I went into the local bookie and put 100 quid on ANNIE at 2/1 to win the CH.with  an agreement that I would get my money back if she does not run.
but the glasses are sh1te I think he bucked me.

Designer sunglasses 1 big scam. No competition in the market at all, from manufacturing to retailing, hence they can charge mugs top dollar for them.

Hear people say I only buy "Ray-ban" as their the best.

1 company makes them all.

Luxottica - Ray-Ban, Prada, Tiffany, Oakley, Versace, Chanel, Doce and Gabbana etc etc etc

and they own a lot of the retailers too inc Sunglass Hut.

So when you go into the shop whatever you buy is the same, and prob made in the same factory with cheap labour.

Had the same pair for 15 years. Still going strong and still look as cool as they did they day I bought them. Can walk around all day eye banging birds and nobody is any the wiser.

An interesting thought of mine is, how people can drive in the darkest sunnies they like, but only marginal tints are allowed on the front windows!

Dark sunnies and tints would be a recipe for disaster!
