Yeah had heard something before last election, but he just said it out loud just now, a bit more definitive.  The blair-brown changeover took place in 2007, 3 years before 2010 election.  Only 4 years to go to 2020 election, wonder when the changeover will take place.

Is it really going to be Johnson versus Corbyn in 2020. What a state this country has become a buffoon versus a nutcase.

Doesn't the favourite for the leadership of the Tory party usually get beat when they vote?

No difference. They both advocate working with Vladimir Putin, and in return he bigs them up on Russia Today.

Cameron announced this yonks ago. There is a politics forum but I am scared to go in there.

The betting significance is in next Prime Minister markets -- check the terms as some are for PM after the 2020 election but if not, just draw a line through all the Labour names.
Report Wesdag • February 24, 2016 5:24 PM GMT
Keep up rob, said that yonks ago.

i've been looking at this market today to try and see if i could see any outsider worth backing as i agree those at the head of this market usually lose and it really is a most uninspiring field. could the boring phillip hammond be a player?
Report Ramruma • February 24, 2016 9:41 PM GMT
Tory rules are that the MPs narrow the field down to two, and ordinary party members then make the final choice.

As others have pointed out. This is hardly news.
Cameron publicly stated he would not stand as PM after this current term
