you are not voting on personalities you are voting on the issues. The push to leave is not just about Boris Johnson or IDS, the electoral commission hasn't even yet decided what group will be the official Brexit group.

Here's what's gonna occur....Merkel's going to intervene and call D/C back to the negotiation table.A more favorable deal will be put to Cameron. The slime ball will come running back to Westminster waving around this improved offer.Boris will immediately change sides and tell the great unwashed that this new deal is what he was after in the first place .Dave and Boris will kiss and make up on the steps of number 10 and us outers will be well and truly screwed.

It quite possibly is all very Machiavellian but the simple fact is that many people who want to remain in or who are sat on the fence are deeply troubled by how things have panned out with the EU. I'd say it's virtually a certainty that an out vote would lead to a fresh offer which is more in tune with what some in the country would prefer. Yes always means yes. No means let's tweak things. I'm an outer but a major tweak would be better than to continue down the present road to a federal superstate dominated by France and Germany.

I am with you zorro, cant help feeling that a tacit agreement will be in place behind the scenes for Boris to make a magical reversion to endorse europe on the understanding ,never mentioned, that he will take over from Dave during the rest of the term after Dave has done his job ? He is a man who I instinctively distrust.

He's certainly a wobbly sort but he can hardly change his position before the referendum. He's supposedly pinned his colours to the mast and I paraphrase:
What have you brought back which fundamentally changes things? Which would beg the question of Boris if Cameron chisels out a little more: What has he brought back which has fundamentally changed things? To which Boris would have no answer. If he jumps ship he is sunk as far as leading the party is concerned. |

Only if we stay in the EU If we come out Cameron is finished, or I would hope so |

Boris may not get the leadership, must be others looking for that, Osborne perhaps?
I hate the Tories anyway, Cameron I find particularly disgusting and the most incompetent leader this country has ever had..how could he try to give away Scotland in the middle of a recession??????? just my opinion |

i still cant get my head around why those in the leave campaign arnt disemboweling cameron with the following question,
if you believe a word cameron says,we,re led to believe that if the eu had turned down any of daves watered down pitiful 4 baskets,he would have campaigned to leave,so yesterday instead of all these risks we,re supposed to be facing he,d have turned the page over and be telling us all of the virtues of leaving and telling the remains they,ve got it all wrong, how is that remotely tenable if you listen to cameron theres 27 other countries out there most of which have 1,2, 3 open borders unlike us,most far smaller gdp, trading agreements etc, most far more in the line of fire on security, terrorism , so even though the eu according to the torys is that flawed its far to risky for anyone to consider leaving |

Cameron needs to get the MI6 handlers to tell Gerry Adams and Martin McGuinness to change to the OUT camp.
