I don't usually watch them as it isn't good for my BP but this was one with a difference!

Some sort of new deal where people sign over their rights to benefits for a lump sum of £26k.

So what did they do but spend £800 on a slap up meal for all the friends and family.

Next they bought a feking snake and a Racoon. Don't know what the snake cost but the Raccoon was £460.00!!!!

Had to leave it when they were down to £22k but then, just as typing this, I'm thinking "why were the cameras there"?

Whatever else, it had to be staged/partially staged, and they must have been paid generously for taking part!

If we just stopped benefits then there would be no need for programmes like this.
I wouldn't be totally harsh though and would supply a tent and sleeping bags for comfort and a fishing rod so they could feed themselves.

Give a man a fishing rod and he can eat for a lifetime is what all these charities say isn't it? Laugh

Yep give a man a fishing rod and he'll sell it but give him benefits and he'll live for ever.
Something like that. BTW everything saved on benefits should go straight to pensions. Only fair. Laugh

The single mother,A total waste of £26k.Hasn't worked for 15 years done a CV that could have been done without £26k upfront first line "I am a hard worker"

Didn't know this was an ongoing series!

Despite the deal they have, I will guarantee that when they have spunked it all, they will be welcomed back, into the cushy cozy benefit haven!

So, a £26k dream holiday is there for the taking!

Where do I sign please?
