This is our once in a lifetime chance

Scotland is the only country in the world who would not prefer their own bad government to the good government of another - they bottled it!

Every other country with an ounce of pride would want out

And there's a bonus: if UK votes out - Scotland might very well want 'in' and try to leave UK -
Now we've got our fracking oil and are starting to make English whiskey - and its very good- lets get a divorce from the clans/save a bomb - then we can address the scrounging Welsh question to boot - cut the cra p out the system - start paying off our deficit and build a sustainable future.
Lower taxes/ better trade deals / improved community - Boris as PM and the world's our oyster

We've never had a vote on this - ever- Europe is not the Common Market is it?- and then the vote to stay in was permitted AFTER we were  put in by Heath

After reading that, it reminds me the punctuation shortage the EU has brought is ridiculous.

Guy down the pub says it all goes to poland now so they can put all the funny bits in words like:
"Dziewięćsetdziewięćdziesięciodziewięcionarodowościowego".

Scotland has the 2nd highest tax take per region of the UK.

Why would you want to get rid of that? The South East of England would have to subsidise the North East, Wales, Midlands etc. even more in that scenario.

I like the Scots but the dourness of the SNP members is off putting.

SNP incredibly want independence from the UK but don't want independence from a more tyrannical master the EU.

They want the subsidies but forget the EU got more off Scotland than they ever got back.

I would have to do a lot of research to decide on the in or out. Can't be arsed with that so will just have to live with the decision of those that can.

I'm too old to have to give a fook really Cool

your headline here is absolute bollocks ya festering wee naff

real Scots stood up and were counted ,we saved our country ,Scotland would have been a Banana republic without the Bananas if these mugs had got their way .

If niki had a pair she would promise Scots if they voted to remove the Uk from the EU and the rest of Scotland voted the same but the southern softies cocked on the deal then the SNP would campaign to get Scotland out of the  EU and go for proper independence ,no being up to your neck in hawk and living in la la land ,a manifesto based on living within your means and building a proper country that only spends what it can afford ,all hands to the pumps and no passengers .
But we all know the SNP would never give up their golden ticket on the bisto express

The Scots had their chance- and bottled it; but the collective choice  (quite rightly and naturally ) nagged at them- then come the election just a little later- in the quietness of the voting booth - they  voted SNP enmasse  - all feeling guilty for their earlier mistake.

The younger Scots and those with no stake in society to lose voted for 'out'- those who had built up a nestegg/ assets bottled it.

I fear the same may happen with the UK referendum. I hope not .

If England votes for 'out' but uk stays in because Scotland/Wales want in - there will be trouble.
