‘Bill and Hillary Clinton are under increasing scrutiny from the mainstream press over paid speeches they have given to big banks in exchange for millions of dollars. According to CNN, the couple has earned a total of $153 million in lecture fees from companies and organizations affiliated with the financial industry.

Seems a helluva lot of money for a few speeches.
Even Blair can't match that!

This video is bizarre. I don't know what she thinks is funny.

Her defence from what I saw was basically that every other secretary of state did it (took hundreds of thousands of dollars for a few speeches) but I can't find that video.

xmoneyx i suspect the clinton's have a closet full of skeletons and smoking guns, if hilary ends up against trump it will be the dirtiest election ever as he wont be afraid to use whatever means necessary to win

The area where I live has been ravaged by opencast mining. We had councillors that were coal company employees, share holders, trade unionists, one was renting a house on coal company land. Some received gifts that were in serious breach of guidelines which were declared so the council knew about them and did nothing. One councillor went to numerous football games at the expense of a coal company - again each time was serious breach of the rules but the council didn't want to take it upon themselves to report him.

It eventually stopped after it got too brazen - a VIP trip to the Nou Camp made the paper but even then he was only warned about his conduct, not reported.

Fast forward a few years and the companies have gone bust and the insurance money that should pay for restoration is less than 10% of what is needed due to an unbelievable lack of oversight. Or willful blindness.

Clinton is just the same except much further up the food chain.
