now they are sticking sticks up the back of the doctors they have. Bogus excuse of bad weekend care.
nobody has mentioned any other cause of possible reasons why people might die at the weekends. Such as binge drinking at weekends. time off and doing something silly like mountaineering or cycling in traffic? DIY jobs. Having blowout curryhouse meals/kebabs.
Blaming doctors is just an evil ploy from evil men trying to dismantle a truely great institution. I've never thought I had inferior service in a hospital. I might disagree with my GP at times about treatment. but each time i've had to go to hospital it's been stellar. These evil politicians always find one idiot that complains about sub standard care and paints it across the whole service.
this is about selling off the NHS by nibbles until its all private. They hate the idea of helping people who have no safety net. no live and let live - survival of the fitest is their mantra.
Instead of parading your ignorant prejudice why don't you go and have a look at the research evidence which allows for the things you comment on and which still consistently shows that weekend mortality is statistically significantly higher compared to admissions during the week.

for all sorts of reasons people would pop into hospital during the week wagging work, minor ailments etc ,but i,d say most people would have to be absolute desperate,in agony, serious illness etc to go in hospital at the weekend, is all this taken into account when compiling these figures, or do they compare like with like
