Google UK chairman Matt Brittin claimed he didn't know how much he is paid when questioned about his company's tax settlement.
This seems to have triggered a debate about high pay.
If his pay was cut by say, £1m pa, that would just go on to Google's bottom line. At least he'll be paying PAYE on his salary.
