London is two cities. The nice London where middle class luvvies sit around talking about how much their house has gone up in value and isn't it awful that Cameron isn't letting all of the Calais "refugees" into the country. You can throw in the cultural areas in with the luvvie bits to make quite a nice city. Then there is the shiithole London and there is plenty of that. Whether you think London is the greatest city or biggest shiithole is very much a subjective judgement. I didn't feel "enriched" when I lived there.

You could say that about most cities to be fair. But what they don't have that London has in spades, is a sensational atmosphere.

If there is a gang of you going, a stag do maybe, the Beer Bike tour is a suggestion, you all pedal a converted beer table on wheels in the traffic while sitting, drinking the local brew at the same time. Mental but true.
