What a revelation this lad has been. Dragged out of Fleetwood in his late twenties. Whoever scouted him deserves a serious pay rise..

Lee chapman was great with the head bur 5hit with his feet.

The thing I hate about this Leicester phenomena is the Leicestershire accent. It encourages local fans to ring up 606 and talk....and almost to a man they sound thick.

Thick as **** up here in The East Midlands !

Vardy is a brilliant player.

A proper, old-fashioned, hard-working, 'lean and hungry as a whippet' centre forward.

Could have been a player in Charles Charlie Charles team of '33!

I REALLY hope and wish Leicester win the Prem this year.

It would mark for a great bit of footballing history in showing it isn't just all about mega-bucks and prima donna players.

Plus, that great old ex-Stoke Kraut bruiser Robert Huuuuuth would be able to rub in even more with his mate Super Jonny Walters!
When Leicester played Stoke recently Huth tweeted:

"Great seeing you today mate, I've missed that high pitched scream you make when you take a knock"

It really must be remembered that it was a superb bit of stategy by Pearson last season when Leicester were staring into the abyss of relegation when he brought Huth in to shore up their defence.
Their fortunes improved instantly from that moment on.
Now look at them.

Goaaarn Leicester!
Report dustybin • February 5, 2016 8:47 AM GMT
Leicester winning the premier league title would be like Luke stardancer firing that laser bullet from his space plane into the anus of the deathstar that is the overinflated capitalist machine and it exploding.
The football journey then complete all possibilities met the bubble bursts and the illusion of selling something ethereal being over, people then refuse to pay the inflated prices for failure.

I see Liverpool are starting the revolution by leaving the ground on 77 mins the next home game, lets home everyone does it.

Vardy is a late developer, he'll be a hell of a player when he's 40. So much better than these precocious kids, that lose it when they reach 20.

Be great if they can win it. Not for the layers though. Heard they were bet as high as 5000/1 with bookies. Surely got to lay off now.
Report kincsem • February 6, 2016 3:35 PM GMT
Vardy reminds me of Frank Stapleton.  Defence starts at the centre-forward position.
They don't (didn't) let players relax on the ball.   Every ball gets chased.
Report mad mad moon • February 6, 2016 4:08 PM GMT
A lot of similarities to Cloughs great  Forest side in the 70s and 80s. Much greater than the sum of its parts.
Inevitably though, the big boys will come in and break  it up in the summer, and the fairytale will be short lived,
Let's hope we don't l return to a 4 team league, and Vardy doesn't  become the new Gary Birtles ☹️
Report Coachbuster • February 6, 2016 6:22 PM GMT
