I really like Coren's voice, it's quite softly accented and pleasant. I could listen to it for hours.
|
|
By:
Just checking ...
We'll have to pleasantly disagree. I find her voice ok for 20 mins and then it becomes grating and patronising. I have to switch off even though I like the programme. |
|
By:
I agree about Coren. Far too nasal and whiny, and indeed patronising.

To be fair, normally when I hear her voice, it's muffled by her fun bags.

Ainsley Harriot another that grates on the ear.

Oh I've a competitor for Coren's affections! En guard!
I hate : Any of those voices with the question or similarly annoying inflection at the end of every sentence. I've never watched more that 2 minutes of it but every single tw*t on "Made in Chelsea" has the most incredibly annoying voice. It's not that they are posh, that doesn't bother me, it's like they are Californian Valley Girls in London. |

I saw Victoria in the flesh in a London casino so I'm one up on you.

There's always one show off!

It was just after she'd won an EPT tourney. First I'd ever seen her. Was pointed out to me by one of the crowd I was with.

What did he "point" with?

She had on a sleeveless summer dress. She was gorgeous. Let's just say we could all have pointed.

She caught my eye on a documentary she did, about words or something, ages ago.

She did a couple like that. The use of the apostrophe was one and the other was the one you've mentioned. Finding the origin of words.

That Welsh clunt.... (so called comedian) on the P&O cruise commercial.
He is very irritating |

The ozzy green leader's voice goes right through me. I've heard many australian accents and don't mind them, hers is nails on a blackboard.

that scouse c0ck on the one show....2nd place john bishop.

Anyone northern. Makes me really bloody cross to have to listen to someone from the Midlands, Liverpool and Manchester with their ridiculous regional accents. And don't even get me started on Geordies or anyone from Yorkshire.
Londoners are what we need with the notable exception of Danny Dyer of course although Tommy Steele would always be welcome. |

Kay Burley for me - no brainer.....

Peston, only superceded by having to look at him.

Special mention also to Colin Murray whose TV appearances these days are thankfully limited.

The woman that did/does the voiceovers on Masterchef.
Just googled her…India Fisher. Which reminded me of the spoof. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PjckqAU8IkM |

Good shout with Colin Murray - let's not forget the wonderful Mick Fitz though. I'd like to also throw the chaps that do the voice overs from both X Factor and Big Brother into the ring..

My first choice as soon as I read the topic! Cheryl what the fek is she called now? Brendan Foster Huw Edwards, who finishes every sentence like someone is prodding his behind, with a sharp stick. |
