Not a fan of Trump, thought of him as president scares me, but the way Channel 4 is just so ****ing biased and left wing and does hatchet jobs on businesses and people is pretty irritating. It has been, as expected, been person after person who hates Trump, with the opinions of the C4 t*ss who clearly hates him.
I literally had to switch off C4 news tonight, I just couldn't take it anymore, it was just endless guardian/pro mass migration, like every night, no attempt at balance. |
|
By:
I must say though, attacking McCain as a sort of coward, a pilot who got shot down over enemy territory and captured, is a pretty damned stupid and pathetic low punch.
|
|
By:
They claimed he was a rapist, ridiculously biased.
They seemed to think working class people shouldn't have the vote, this was just pure snobbery. |
|
By:
It was ridiculously biased, even for channel 4. As I say I don't like him myself, but even then, it was just a Trump hatefest.
I await them doing similar to another mental tw*t: Corbyn... |
|
By:
It was not claimed he was he a rapist. A alleged incident of rape was mentioned and the serial abusive letters he wrote to the journalist Selina Scott was unbelievable. She had no reason to lie.

He is no Bill Clinton, thats for sure.

http://gawker.com/the-time-donald-trumps-ex-wife-accused-him-of-brutally-1721129617 After a painful scalp reduction surgery to remove a bald spot, Donald Trump confronted his then-wife, who had previously used the same plastic surgeon. [...] What followed was a “violent assault,” according to Lost Tycoon. Donald held back Ivana’s arms and began to pull out fistfuls of hair from her scalp, as if to mirror the pain he felt from his own operation. He tore off her clothes and unzipped his pants. “Then he jams his penis inside her for the first time in more than sixteen months. Ivana is terrified…It is a violent assault,” Hurt writes. “According to versions she repeats to some of her closest confidantes, ‘he raped me.’” |

Its hard to criticise someone whose company (possibly through no fault of their own) had no option but to go bankrupt. Sure, it could happen to the Pope!
But 4 times. You cant put that down to bad luck and what about the people it affected. Did he pay them all back when he was in a position to do so. |

The Clinton Foundation.........
Now there's a company that won't go bankrupt.. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3174033/Clintons-charities-got-50million-British-aid-cash-UK-government-accused-trying-buy-influence-power-family.html |

I am prepared to give him the benefit of any doubt and say he is not a serial rapist but he sure is not a fit person to be the President of America. I am very confident most americans will agree with that.

He makes Boris seem normal and sane

Very kind of Paddletoe to give him the benefit of the doubt.
On what basis does Paddletoe consider him unfit for the presidency, why not just let the American people decide. |
|
By:
I wonder if paddletoe has ever heard of Benghazi...

The American people are capable of deciding

By:
Wildman, I thought my answer implied its up to the will of the American people to decide. It should go without saying I was only giving my personal opinion. The same way I respect your right to give personal opinions.
For starters I don't accept his business success which followed several bankruptcies when he had no regard to pay back his dues to the people it affected. I don't care what the law says or that it might be on his side over those bankruptcies. A higher standard than just the law should be expected from a potential president. |
|
By:
I guess not then..

By:
If someone busts their bank a few times then finally nails it, are they are a good gambler?
|
|
By:
If elected president his mandate from the American people should be respected and he should certainly not be banned from entering any demorcatic country.
|
|
By:
I like to think I am a half decent gambler but I don't see that quality as a quality which makes a difference in a positive way to other people than myself. You should also not confuse gambling with your own money and at stakes you cab afford to lose with high stakes gambling with such sums of money where you can hold others to ransom and still hold all the cards when you lose.
|
|
By:
What Trump did may be viewed as smart but also exhibits psychopathic qualities and his questionable business success should not be seen as a good quality for a potential president.
|
|
By:
In answer to your question Guinness that does not make them a good gambler unless you respect a lack of morals which involves taking money from people with less money than yourself. Its tantamount to stealing a old ladies handbag.
|
|
By:
I wonder what Facts would call someone who berates everybody else for failing to do something and who promises faithfully they will do it because it is the only moral thing to do and then steadfastly refuses to update people on whether they actually did it?
|
|
By:
Sorry paddles; i don't know any gamblers in Benghazi (except Ma Clinton)

Well Baron, he's come out with the wholly impractical idea of an immediate ban on any Muslim entering America and what with Muslims (aka 'Muzzies') being the thing that grips the sh1t of the majority of CC'ers at present, then you can see why he has some appeal.

Just read the Times today in the Pub. Their reviewer describes the C4 programme as a "fun hatchet job". About right I would say

It may be impractical. Some may see it as barmy. Many take a different view. They consider the threat from radical Islam far more pressing than any other issue facing the world at this time. So someone who articulates a simple remedy will be popular. Certainly more popular than all those saying that these people don't represent Islam and waving them through. ISIS don't seem to be listening to that one and why should they? |

Agree EO
Articulating practical, 'realpolitik' answers that actually address the situation, instead of sounding good for particular constituencies, is always a tough sell. |
