Bastard. Cilic, a 1/3 shot with a 2-0 head to head record over his opponent, both easy, and with the other guy taking 5 sets to get past two very inferior opponents in first two rounds.

Cilic led 5-3 in second set too, could have been so different if he'd just held that one service game.

That is fecking deflating.

What was the bet RTB?

Aftertimer?
Report Roger The Butler • January 23, 2016 7:55 AM GMT
Placed pre tournament, an accumulator on players to reach the last 16. Had seven in it and the other six all made it.

Commiserations Roger..that's a hard one to takeCry..was there any chance of laying off?
Report Roger The Butler • January 23, 2016 7:58 AM GMT
After timing indeed. Quite hard to post about a player fecking up a payout before it has actually happened. Though with the match fixing rumpus maybe it can be done.

Thanks Twizzle. Not really as he wasn't the last leg, there were three more still to come after him. Was hoping they would get turned over as I don't mind missing by a mile but the last three all won 3-0. Besides, everything was in his favour, just couldn't envisage him blowing it.

Roger
Commiserations ... couldn't resist the poorly judged aftertiming jibe.

It's just that I go on the horse racing forum from time to time and it's full of 'em ... well one or two.

Still friends?

Don't worry. After timing from someone who's had a shocker probably makes a nice change from the ones who tell you all the success they are having.

Look on the bright side...the bet never even reached the halfway mark in reality. Fell at the fourth. Sad

Unlucky Roger. Hope you were able to hedge on Cilic's opponent for a nice lump.

I bet you made a bit of a racket when you realised how much money you could have won.

Tough beat.  But you were in with there a chance.
The biggies are a small sample size.  They are coin flips.
I had 29k, 15k, 25k, near misses before I got a few payouts.
The gloom lasts for a while.  Swearing helps a bit.

Bookies offer unfair odds, that's how they make their money. You just multiply your losses by doing accumulators.

Cilic cost me as well, so good at times then so erratic
