Call off the search, batteries found in the thermostat. MrsB will go to the ball.

Kraken spiced rum ... nice
Report mememe • January 22, 2016 4:29 PM GMT
Thank god for that ... does Mrs B play pool then?

If so you've got a good 'un there ... hang on to her for a while is my advice.

GL tonight

(and how can you lose batteries in the thermostat, FFS ... is your thermostat a big box or separate room ... are you getting thermostat and cupboard under stairs mixed up ... it's easily done?)
Report blackestnight • January 22, 2016 4:41 PM GMT
She is quite the player now after 7 years of training !! The heating thermostat was where they were hiding, it was her goodself that saved a major job for the CCDA aswell.

I am going to pour myself a 50 year old Sandeman jerez Brandy - they claim

'our Brandy VVO is a very special Brandy which has been maturing in an ageing Solera of Old Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez Sherry Casks for more than 50 years.

It is an unique product, and Sandeman produce each bottle taking care of every last detail'

The solara technique is in itself a unique production method
Frankly- its not as good as a fine  cognac- imagine a medium sweet sherry which has been brandified- Iwould describe it as dry with caramel notes which linger for 5 minutes a sip !

Ffs you people have no style.

£3.50 for a bottle of Tesco's South African W.O. Western Cape (13.5%) - selected by Tesco's I may add so that's a big plus. Doesn't mention the grape but surely one of the best as it tastes nice. Two bottles should do the job.

As many cans of Grolsch as necessary. Premium lager (5%) brewed since 1615 (presumably not the cans I'm drinking). £1.00 a can. A bold and perfectly balanced beer. Enjoyed since the Dutch golden age. And we all know when that was.

Tesco's everyday Value blended Scotch whisky (40%). £10.50 for 70cl but the claim that this bottle contains 28 servings is dubious. Say's it's suitable for vegetarians. Which must mean it's good for you.

Couple of bottles of Fuller's Black Cab stout pre-dinner and then a nice drop of McGuigan Shiraz to wash down the vittles.

I think we should find out of taking selfies of yourself in a mankini doing lunges and high kicks would get past the betfair censors.

Unfortunately, sorry, all of mine are in for specialist dry cleaning, can someone else like doantwin try it for us?
Report doantwin2easy • January 22, 2016 7:45 PM GMT
i tried it before JC. got a private message saying she wouldn't allow it, but would be saving it to her hard drive should the guidelines ever change.

It's a really good wine. I'm always amazed at the price and keep expecting it to go up or be out of stock. Not sure about the Holsten though.

Foinavon my old friend.
I haven't really cut down but tend to drink more at home these days. I seriously doubt if I could drink as much as I used to and still play sensible chess (not that I can play sensible chess at all these days though I still play on-line).
