I was about to post that 'Dave' would probably beat him but I was getting Haye confused with Audrey Harrison for a second!
|
|

haha! I thought all the lack of meat protein was making his head woozy!

Very good Easter!

From 30 months ago.
David Haye is devouring a green salad in a quiet corner of an Italian restaurant close to his Kent home and explaining why, six months ago, he took the decision to become a vegan. "I watched a TV documentary about how animals are farmed, killed and prepared for us to eat," he explains, shaking his head. "I saw all those cows and pigs and realised I couldn't be a part of it any more. It was horrible. I did some research to make sure I could still obtain enough protein to fight and, once satisfied that I could, I stopped. I'll never go back." |

There really isn't any point about talking about sport anymore on this forum is there?
Especially trying to give people the heads-up about a FREE, TERRESTRIAL heavyweight fight - seldom seen on tv these days. Sheesh. |
|
By:
Good god, you really do have a short fuse don't you!?
|
|
By:
Not at all, I'm just bloody sick and tired of you making everything a 'political' thing about vegetarianism - when you were a fully-fledged meat eater till about 63 years old (or older).
You're worse than an ex-smoker spouting your nonsense. Live and let bloody be, kenny. I'm just promoting a bleedin' FREE HEAVYWEIGHT BOXING MATCH ON TERRESTRIAL TV! |
|
By:
Is this channel actually free?
I dont pay a penny to sky and just use the box for my ruk subsciption. It picks up all the normal channels like bbc etc but dave is scrambled? By 'free' do they mean 'part of the standard subscription package' type free, i.e. actually a subscription channel just like ATR? |
|
By:
Well, anybody can see it's a free boxing match by the header and opening post.
I was merely demonstrating that you don't need meat protein as you said in your 13.38, by highlighting Lennox's comments on the subject. My 13.37 post would have been my last on the subject if you hadn't posted your 13.38, and you needed correcting. Over and out! |
|
By:
Oh do give over you silly old sod, kenny.
I was making a light reply at you saying 'at his headiest' - but you had to take it to the next 'right-on veggie' level. What for, I really don't know. Give it a rest. |
|
By:
Dustybin - yes, it's free.
I don't have any of the Murdoch corruption and only have terrestrial Freeview: it's free on Freeview Channel 12. |
|
By:
cheers TT
but doesnt freeview operate on a purchase fee of the box perhaps? |
|
By:
I have no box, Dustybin - just a tv.
|
|
By:
- Freeview comes as a standard thing on tvs sold.
No need to purchase any boxes, dishes or anything else. |
|
By:
hmm just wondering why then the skybox wont show it if its free
|
|
By:
freeview, there's a slight clue in the name.

What is Freeview?
Freeview logoFreeview is a Digital TV service that allows you to watch over 40 TV channels via your TV aerial. No dish required, no subscription, no ties, no contracts, and no installation costs. Just buy a set-top box for free access to the Freeview channel lineup… not quite boxingthefox |
|

yOU'll get a good one for £100

Massive game tomorrow, I really fancy them, to beat the gooooooners.
The Britannia will go wild if they do. ![]() |
|
By:
Dustybin - any modern tv within, say, the last 6-10 years, comes with Freeview as a 'standard'.
The only need to buy a box is if your tv is older than those sold without Freeview installed. |
|
By:
Good comeback dustybin, fair play to you.

Both my TV's (showing off now) have built in freeview.

Whinger Wenger HATES coming to The Brit, Boxing!
It's always a brilliant day just watching how much he hates it - and the crowd winding him up! |
|
By:
Its built in to all new tvs
|
|
By:
get the box for 20 quid
but the channel is actually encrypted, so its actually not free...though it is cheap its free if youve bought the box,or have a tv thats obviously paid their dues to receive it or have a subscription with sky etc |
|

I think 'Sparky' is well up to out thinking him on strategy/ies. and yes he is a fckin miserable sod, I imagine when they are losing his half time 'pep talks' are wrist slashingly uplifting.
