good God! he had his own show show on radio 2 on xmas day,
I was thinking how nice it was to hear him again,loved his show way back on radio one on Saturday morning as a kid,
thinking about it,thats when I first heard "something in the air" by thunderclap newman,still on of my faves

Never be able to listen to Charlie Drakes 'My Bruvver' in the same way again.

Come to think of it, since Stewpot was the only one who ever played it, I'll never be able to listen to it again on the radio - period.

oddly enough roger it got an airing on sounds of the 60s 8 days ago,
you are proberly right that it wont get a play for another 10yrs
