I was reading this moving exams to accommodate Ramadan article. Within it was this pearl:
Ramadan – when the Qur’an, the holy book of Islam, was revealed to the prophet Muhammad
Said as a statement of fact and we all know who is supposed to have done the revealing. I never knew they were all so staunchly religious over at that bastion of left wing luvviedom. They'll be going all creationist and anti abortion next.
Or did I miss that memo?

not sure about that studyform, a lot of media are big money losers and have no profitability, the new york times, al jazeera, the bbc, cnn, msnbc, loads of internet media propped up by the likes of george soros. often these groups are based around pushing an ideology, they don't make money, they cost money, be it from oilrich arabs or the licence fees of poverty stricken pensioners.

I think that's why freedom of speech is so vitally important.
Get ideas out there, understand where protagonists are coming from, debate their intentions as well as what they write / say and you probably end up with the truth being somewhere in the middle. |

Look at the job they do on corbyn too Last night we had that lbc creep and good old jaqui smith (rememeber the expenses thingy - she was home sec under labour too?) The segment was by far the longest as they laughed and joked and chopped him up for mincemeat. The best bit was when the fkn woman presenter joined in with hain's dismantling of corbyn in the spectator etc --Wht the fk was she doing joining in the massacre. The point I am making is they have an agenda - if it was muslims then it would be 30 secs and don't mention violence or naughtiness. My other point is - 3 slashing corbyn to bits but no challenge to what they are saying. Do you see?? But this and other issues are regularly brought out and it is nearly always pro establishment and westminster or claret drinking notting hill thinking. at the end of the Papers section they had 30 secs of cologne where smith sat strangely silent but when they had the ramadam school thing on she was all for it and singing its praises YET AGAIN IT REMAINS COMPLETELY UNCHALLENGED AND TOTALLY BIASED ONE WAY. |
