What makes me laugh was the Camelot website when the extra balls were added...LOOK..an extra 10 balls to choose from you lucky people.....must think we'll all muppets.
|
|
By:
And their current farcical ad campaign encouraging people to play lest a z-list "celebrity" happens to win.
|

Can't believe this cynicism.
If you match two balls - a mere 250-ish to 1 shot?- you now you get your £2 back. So jog on. But Shirley-isously, it's mental how people apparently get more tickets when the pool is higher. So winning £2m isn't worth it but *sigh* 50m is? Same as Tote Pools and all else I guess. |

The Lotto Website has Crashed

It's apparently uk's biggest rollover tonight, so I bought some tickets.
I'm sure that's just because of the numbers change, but when I win, I won't complain. |

Used to be a nicker a week then they introduced a second draw and then thunderfcking ball and probably other draws i don't even know about and then stuck the price up 100%.The greed of these knut$ knows no bounds.

Jackpot roll over, but I got 3 numbers.
Their web site is s**t isn't it, even at the best of times it takes ages to put the numbers up, while I'm at it I want to check my normal ticket (that last weeks) as I can't as the site is still "unavailable" so I can't check the numbers on draw history. Billions of turn over, website running on a zx spectrum. |
|
By:
With 49 numbers, it used to be that if an average person bought a lottery ticket on a Monday, they were more likely to die before the draw than win the jackpot - now it could be an hour before the draw - that said, it's a great way for the government to avoid their responsibility to support budding artists and sports stars that inspire their electorate

![]() I'll buy more on Saturday as AFAIK it's got to be paid out then. It's too time consuming to check now though with a few lines and all those raffle numbers ![]() |

Wasn't there one week where so many £25 prizes had to be paid for matching three balls that those with four were actually paid less, and anybody fortuntate enough to hit five out of six got about three grand?
An numbers racket for which the New York mafia would be proud. |

By:
Poker, the mafia would have been satisfied with a guaranteed 60% take out. Not this lot.
