I once worked with a jolly gal who, I was told, went to Newham College ... she was a bit clever.

Anyway, one coffee break we were chit chatting about schools, colleges attended etc and I said "I hear you went to college in Newham".

"No, no" she replied, "Newnham College - Cambridge"

"Oh" I replied.

Fancy her opting for a posh, women only, high achieving Uni, when she could have gone and obtained a wonderful multicultural experience

After that she always looked at me like she felt sorry for me.

I must congratulate you, without doubt you are more insightful and erudite than most on here! I don't recall anyone else realizing that me and my 'Chum' can individually or in tandem effect the London housing market with posts on an anonymous, sparsely populated betting forum.

UPDATE: From our Newham reporter. Info for visitors.

Total of ALL the white English who were born here in the population of 325.000 (not counting illegals) in Newham is only 51,200.

Newham - Just under 14 squares miles with a 325,000 population

Norfolk - Over 2,000 square miles with a population of 859,400 - what's not to like

The only English whites left in Newham are the elderly who have given up, the low paid or skint who can't afford to get out, the 'not playing with a full deck' and the unemployable.

Some of those groups are intertwined.

I know one lot of about 15-16 blokes who have never had a legal job between them. They are in their late 30s now and most of them cant read or write properly.

Been out of work so long they get invited on the Jobcentre beano to Southend.

They do enrich our culture foxie,just cant see how you dont appreciate what they bring to our society ! Perhaps we should build more social housing in Chipping Norton and Hampstead to let the luvvies savour the benefits ?
