1. Enter as contestants
2. Buy your auction items with their money during the filming of the programme.
3, During the auction part, you have your 'plants' in place in the crowd ( people bidding for you so your item doesn't make a loss )
4, When you win at the end of the programme, you pocket the winnings, the golden gavel. two fetching Bargain Hunt fleece jackets and the auction items that were bought ( which can be flogged off again when you get home ). Quids In £££££££££££££££

The Plot line in Ocean's Eleven doesn't even come close.

I was watching Bargain Hunt the other day and was shocked to see an old trannie in it.

Surely electrical equipment doesn't sell well at auction.

Point number 3 above covers that, Terry

But what happens when your friend has to pay the £200 that he has bid for the £15 item you bought?
Report stickyvicky • January 4, 2016 11:46 PM GMT
Presenter hands back the £185 profit to the winning team and you have the £15 item that people think is worth £200.
An other tactic could be, your 'plants' could ramp up the auction bidding against an unsuspecting bidder in the room, then let them win at the exaggerated price, winning team then collects the profit.

Buyer would also have to pay 20% comm on any purchase.

mind you I did try "whats your best price" lark last week at Greenwich market,
you could say I was seen off lol

It's all about bartering. If the seller refuses...just walk away, Unless you are happy to meet the seller's estimate of the item's value.

Sica Dan you are correct.  They never use my local auction room where the buyers premium is 27%Devil
