Is it possible to just transfer music from pc hard drive onto this. i have no music on itunes so don't want to use it and besides it seems to complicate things. I've tried youtube pictorials etc , copytrans manager and even straight drag and drop but nothing works. I'm not techy so any help would be great.

Pretty sure you need to use ITunes, but you can just import the songs that are on your hard drive into it and then sync it with the ipod.

Joel is right ..you have to download ITunes.
It's a pile of Apple unnecesary complicated **** - that's why I hardly use mine ! |
