NYE fireworks display gone wrong.
If you're quick, you will see the whole building collapse into a pile of rubble. That's what happens to steel framed sky scrapers that have fires isn't it?

Looks incredibly sinister to me. How can a fire rip through a modern hotel THAT quick without it being contained?

Fire can spread quick as we know but it would have to be made of some chipboard **** to go up like it did. Plus it's the tallest building in the world, major landmark. Definitely suss.

An hour ago when they said it was "under control". Really ? Under control ? I was watching live pictures on Sky News and it was burning and exploding !
My mate went to Dubai last week said he took his missus up the Burj Khalifa 
Everybody was evacuated from the building , i hope so. if it is true, it must be the most successful evacuation since Dunkirk.

If not, you would have to ask whether American Architects engineers, construction firms and material suppliers are just complete cowboys who have no idea how to build steel framed sky scrapers, and could really learn a thing or two from the b slave wage burmese builders who work from bamboo scaffolding.
Or here's a crazy thought, maybe the Salomon brothers WTC 7 building actually didn't just collapse at free fall speed from two floors of fire, and the 27 box steel girders didn't all give way exactly at the same moment across the whole building. maybe, there was some nefarious circumstances we didn't previously consider! 
other than the fact this fire travelled largely up the facade, wasn't impacted internally by an aeroplane at several hundred miles an hour and didn't involve jet fuel you mean?

also the property crash in dubai was massive and this building was completed in 2008 ,could have led to compromises on safety ,no doubt all these buildings are very modern using untested futuristic technical designs .
packed hotel and everyone on balcony's ,too many doors open and conditions perfect for rapid spread of fire ,flames were licking up the outside like the building had been covered with something very flammable ,perhaps curtains blowing in the breeze did facilitate the rapid spread ,initial cause yet to be determined but it happened very quickly ,there was some reports of explosions ,also the pics of the flash and flames over looks unelievable ,was only 22c so not roasting .
