Well, the hard news is still hitting home despite my umpteenth J&C since waking up to it early doors yesterday.
To celebrate the life of Lem, let us post some songs / anecdotes, etc. Who knows - we might start even a trend (whatever one of those is!)

Saw the band at Friars, Aylesbury in the late 70's. The sheer volume totally destroyed me but the testosterone-fuelled moshpit was something else to this kid at that time. After that, I was totally hooked on the band and whilst plenty will cite 'The Ace Of Spades' and their early stuff, the bluesy 'Aftershock' from 2013 is never far off my playlist.

Was going to see them at Hammersmith at the end of January, with Saxon and Girlschool and was going to take my 16 year old nephew (do a bit of across-generation-bonding in the Moshpit!)
Doesn't look like that's going to happen now. |

Ditched his kids, an alcoholic and junkie, a lifestyle which contributed to his diabetes and heart condition, the fawning and god comments on social media really are extreme to say the least, even he was embarassed by the adulation he recieved.
