Sick of been fed images and stories of pain and disaster, they say bad news sells.  It’s the same old stories year in year out. Is there no good news anymore or anything positive?

Polar Bear numbers are on the up. You will only hear anything when their numbers decrease.

We have nothing but regurgitated bad news day after day, you would think people would get sick of bad news. Personally I find it pointless and depressing.

But its only slanted and biased when viewed from your point of view. As for propaganda...How about Breitbart and similar?

No naysayer. The guardian IS biased. It promotes islam at every step and ignores most negative stories about islam NEARLY ALL.  The gaurdiastan lives in a parallel universe.  More concerned with lesbian org&sms, the gender issues of Thomas the Tank, racism in children's puppet shows, Basil brush even.
When they raise (quite correctly) the  problems of sexism/glass ceilings in workplaces and the position of women in society, they blatantly ignore the role of islam in holding back womens' progression in work and society.
#Even better is any reference in the very few open comments they allow, they completely delete any reference to the islamic movement.

NO OF COURSE THEY ARE NOT BIASED

Breitbart reports the news - the guardiastan does not.

They could be using common sense and engineering a way to capture the excess water in risk areas and passing it to the water authorities for times of drought.Instead all I hear about is opportunities to do nothing and blame it on their get out of jail card-climate change.

I believe that some of these tragedies are engineered by governments around the world by negligence, building on flood plains, not clearing streams and drains leaving the water with nowhere else to go. Then like treetop above writes put all the blame on climate change. Must be a big money spinner for someone.

Remember, good or bad news (but mainly bad), it's all bullshit anyway.

A professor from sheffield uni has said on sky that the government has dismissed various reports and enquiries, advice and the like.  Local government cuts also not helping the local authorities.  And of course they are lying about spending.
He said that the environment agency dare not say to much or will get clobbered even more!!??

Defra he says is almost irrelevant in the govt's equation etc - so it is the usual clusster fk and once it is over will be sidelined yet again as we slowly forget what happened.

The Environment Agency is next to useless. All it does is issue doom and gloom predictions that are right off the Met office website,it should be ENGINEERING solutions to the problems overseveral years instead of seeking new areas to return the land to wetlands for bird breeding reasons as promted by the EU since 1997.
