I assumed this happened in Saudi Arabia but it was in London.
Oh well British justice best in the world....not. |

With the justice system you can have a completely ridiculous defence, but if the prosecution aren't deemed to have provided sufficient evidence to convict, then the defendant will get off.

We don't have all the evidence. Her friend was in the bedroom, did she not scream or call out? If not why not? Was she hoping for some reward or was she afraid for her life? We just don't know. Ridiculous defence story but what evidence was given in private?

It's a court case .How can they have 'private' evidence ![]() |
By:
No idea, comes down to being rich i guess.
By:
Whoever is on trial here all the evidence is in open court
By:
That's true tobermory but the newspapers only like to report the bits that they can make into a salacious story, often relying on partial quotations and innuendo.
There will be far more to the story than: Girl: "I was raped" Accused: "No, I fell over and me kn0b accidentally slipped up her shufty." |

I predict a tsunami of copycat crimes.

Sorry guys, I read the bit about evidence given in private in this report of the case
http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/crime/millionaire-ehsan-abdulaziz-who-said-he-accidentally-tripped-and-penetrated-teen-is-cleared-of-rape-a6774946.html I see this is a reference to yet another report given by Mail online. Having now checked that report I see it was said that the press were excluded when that evidence was given. |

Victim went for an OCS.
Nothing to see here folks. |

If that's the case she should be charged with wasting police time.

who was the Judge in this case?
surely they should be out of a job over this decision |
By:
Only just read this. The contents of the article don't seem to match the headline do they? Anyway jury seemed to believe whatever evidence was put in front of them.

Remind me of the United Kingdom, where lefties are trying their best
to ruin the country. What examples are we setting to the younger generations growing up in the UK? Seems like it's 1 set of rules for muslim scum & one set for the law abiding citizens of the UK...so is it ok to rape now? as long as your in europe! Watched a vid earlier where you had a muslim preacher laughing & bragging about that's how it works they go to work & pay taxes to pay us our benefits |
By:
Ron - so back to the case in question! What is your view of this?
By:
why smart @rse whats your view?
By:
Ron, you must know that lefties never answer but divert, good luck.
By:
Ron - you're the one offering the opinions, but just to help you and Ib.S as well, there seems to be significant discrepancies in the reporting of this case. But, the key bit for me is that it took the jury only 30 minutes to reach their verdict. I do not have access to all the evidence presented, but they did, and presumably do not. Hth
By:
Oops - and presumably YOU do not. Hth.
By:
so if it was that clear cut why would 160k sign a
petition in such a short time, perhaps you should start one in favour of the decision if you feel that strongly against the alleged rape? |
By:
you sound like a right **** hth
By:
Ron - Oh dear, logic doesn't seem your strong point does it.
The way the petition post is worded seems persuasive, except that you don't seem to be given all the facts of the case, nor are given the key fact that a properly constituted jury, presumably in possession of all the "facts" found the defendant not guilty in just 30 minutes. Re your last point, which frankly makes little sense, but for the avoidance of doubt I am violently opposed to rape. |
By:
Just sign the petition you pr!ck

You've poked your nose in my threads once to often.
I've nothing left to say on the matter ![]() |
By:
Blimey, you really are as dim as I thought you might be.
Your post "perhaps you should start one in favour of the decision if you feel that strongly against the alleged rape?" Yep, on balance and without hearing the evidence, I am happy to rely on the jury's decision, and I do feel strongly against rape. |
By:
Apologies, my 22.55 post was typed before your 22.50 post. This is a good debate, you shouldn't dip out just because your can't keep up. You've lots of valuable opinions
. Anyway this is Zazu's thread isn't it? |
