Why hasn't he been arrested on a hate charge??

He has said he wants all jihadi Brits to leave the country.

The jihadis have every right to stay here so where's the backlash? Good grief, what if Farage had told UK passport holding Mussies to bog off??!!

The other way of looking at it was that this fella was issuing a war cry for jihadis to join IS.....

Apparently, he's the fourth Shaker they've had.  The previous three just disappeared, but when they had to release one, they found him.

He was indeed chosen for his full head of hair and lovely teeth.

They've done the same with that character Tracey Barlow in Corrie ... had a few Traceys, but we knew ... we spotted the difference.

With Shaker, however, we don't know what the others look like so they've got away with it.

A very pertinent question indeed Injera. Not just Farage, but ANY white person, period, could expect to be subjected to the dawn raid by a UK constabulary for making such remarks, particularly if they have a media profile. Even the Television Puppets are not immune, just ask Basil Brush, infamously investigated by a Hate Crimes unit.

Jihadists are generally a very highly protected species in the UK. Many times we've been told that the police are 'concerned' when a 'Straight A' Jihadist is believed to have left the UK for the battle-field (or the rape-field if it's a female). The normal police procedure is to (inexplicably) apologise to the family concerned, and for Parliament to offer the family the red-carpet treatment, and invite them to lecture a committee.

So, why isn't this person already being investigated?  And why aren't the British Left up in arms about it, given their rage at Hopkins, Fury, Brush and Gascoigne?

I think you answered your own question alun.

Shaker is not white so his comments can't then be opened up to scrutiny and misinterpretation unlike Mr Farage.

Btw, the odious Hopkins is just an opportunist whose career is based on getting a reaction for her rants. Her latest bandwagon now is Islam - what's kept her?

alun - we're on the same page.

Staggering isn't it. The denial, the agenda, the narrative, the bull****....

What will it take for the penny to drop?

It seems this Saudi national chose to move his family to Afghanistan in 2001. Therefore, following his release from Guantanamo why is he not returned either to Afghanistan (where he can re-unite with the Taliban whom he says weren't such bad chaps) or to the country of his birth Saudi Arabia?

Why here in the UK? Answers please on a BBC issue notepad.

As far as I am concerned it is fine for the bbc to put forward the muslim side of things.  Same with sky.
Shame there is no broadcaster in this country who will put the other side of the coin.

– Jeff Randall, former BBC business editor

By far the most popular and widely read newspapers at the BBC are The Guardian and The Independent. Producers refer to them routinely for the line to take on running stories, and for inspiration on which items to cover. In the later stages of my career, I lost count of the number of times I asked a producer for a brief on a story, only to be handed a copy of The Guardian and told ‘it’s all in there’.

Sir Antony Jay, former BBC producer and creator, inter alia, of “Yes, (Prime) Minister”

“Liberal sceptical humanists tend to dominate television”.

The “default position in broadcasting” – when covering issues such as gay marriage and the Roman Catholic position on IVF – revolved around human rights, and that opponents should not be treated as “lunatics”.

“All I’m saying is, if you have at the centre of News an editor, he could explain why people in particular areas…are motivated, why they behave as they do and I think that would just increase understanding.”
– Roger Bolton, Radio 4 presenter and former head of Panorama and Nationwide

“And, in the tone of what we say about America, we have a tendency to scorn and deride. We don’t give America any kind of moral weight in our broadcasts.”

– Justin Webb (pg. 66), Today presenter and former BBC North America editor

“We need to foster peculiarity, idiosyncrasy, stubborn-mindedness, left-of-centre thinking.”
