Not at all crags.  This Fargo has been excellent.

I may hunt you down and feed you to Chihuahuas just for the hell of it.

I don't forget.  Though strangling you in your OAP refuge may be too easy.

best thing on tv,just like the film and the first series, who"s gonna be still alive by the end?
the butcher maybe or his barmy wife?
Report sixtwosix • December 14, 2015 12:23 PM GMT
Good second series , but not as good as series one.

Best show on tv ???

Now that the superlative The Americans series 3 has ended , that title must go Longmire series 4......buried on TCM for some reason.

who"s gonna be still alive by the end

I haven't watched the last episode, but will have a stab at

£10 on the young policeman

Well, she made it, the butcher didn't.  She did kind of grow on you.  Though when you eventually tire of ploughing her furrow (and you always do) I guess Mr Sledgehammer and Mrs Axe will provide a solution of sorts.

Not the most satisfying of endings but a very good series.  Beats anything the bloated self-congratulatory BBC can produce.  Why?

I have no recollection of starting this thread.

I always thought Dale Robertson was a good choice for the lead role.

What happened to the lawyer and his sidekick.
And, as has been said, the kid?
And what was the connection between the young girl babysitter and the family.

Room for the injun and Mike to return
Report screaming from beneaththewaves • December 28, 2015 3:59 PM GMT
The babysitter had moved in with the copper and his family after the butcher's shop burnt down - she'd been living above it, so had lost her home.

The youngest Gerhardt was in the State Pen awaiting trial, facing a 5-10 stretch as the lawyer had explained. Presumably the latter and the mechanic just carried on with their lives.

I loved the Mike Milligan character, but having the system crush the life out of you at your moment of triumph, the way it did when he saw his office and his new life, was a masterstroke. I don't want him miraculously to re-emerge in his previous gangster role. Life doesn't work that way.

The injun is surely going to return in some form. No point supplying him with plastic surgery and new ID otherwise.

Laugh

Thought it was a very quite ending tbh
Report Jack Hacksaw • December 31, 2015 10:33 AM GMT
A little research shows that the injun DID return as Fargo mobster (Moses Tripoli) killed in Series 1 by Malvo.

Very easy to get confused by the timeline in this!
Report sixtwosix • December 31, 2015 11:57 AM GMT
Not as good as series 1 , but far better than most rubbish around today.
Mike Milligan being stuck in an office and shafted by his employer was brilliant writing ,and will resonate with many.

Zahn McClarnon also plays a native american reservation police man in the fantastic series Longmire , for some reason buried away on channel TCM.

If I remember correctly, Betsy was at the police station with the girl after the fire, thought it strange at the time….why was she?

Anyone seen Westworld yet? Wasn't sure I was going to like it, but the 1st episode was brilliant! Very promising indeed.
